Arashi's Aiba stars in television drama
Arashi member Masaki Aiba (26) is set to take on his first lead role in a drama series this fall. He will star in TV Asahi's "My Girl," his first series since "Yankee Bokou ni Kaeru" in 2003.
Aiba, who is more known for appearing in variety shows than in dramas, said that he wants to show his fans a "completely different Masaki Aiba" from his usual self.
"My Girl" is based on a manga by Mizu Sahara (an alternate pen name of mangaka Sumomo Yumeka), currently being serialized in Shinchosha's Weekly Comic Bunch. The comic is described as an "ultimate love story" about a young man named Masamune Kazama (Aiba). During high school, he had a girlfriend four years older than him, but she suddenly left one day. Six years later, he receives news that she has passed away. In addition, she secretly gave birth to Masamune's child, whom he finally meets and decides to raise.
TV Asahi will broadcast "My Girl" in its Friday 11:15pm time slot, starting in October.

So Aiba hosted the show called "Shiranai hou ga Shiawase datta Jijitsu" (Truths We'd Be Happier Not Knowing).

They talked about how Arashi could have been Question.
He could have been Question no Matsumoto Jun.
I am forever thankful that Aiba had the passport when Arashi debuted.
I can't imagine Arashi without any one of them. <3
It makes me ridiculously happy watching the two of them together. Even though the facts are kinda useless to know.

After sitting in my HD for a month, I finally watched Hana Yori Dango Final. It was just like a sweet delicious treat! :D I don't have much to talk about the plot but I love watching the two of them. And Domyouji. Or rather Domyouji Jun ♥ He seriously toned up for the movie and got a tan and everything and I LOVE it! :D :D Like being abandoned on an exotic island and swimming half-naked teasingly and coming out of the water with "Aishiteru" and a hug that makes me want to scream at Mao for being so lucky and then he nails it with "Mo zettai hanasenai~" while the camera is circling around the two in embrace *dies* Or the last scene where he went in for a real kiss with his one hand on her waist and the other one on her face. *so jealous*
Or the scene in the motel room with a horny Domyouji and him grabbing the bedsheet and covering his arousal not so subtly. LOL. Or the truck driver knowing who he is and asking for his autograph. XD Not to mention hearing Jun's cute Engrish. Or Makino punching the bear like she did to Domyouji in the first episode. I went sh*t for real? It was totally unreal and I can't help but love it anyway because it's HanaDan and also the scenery shots are so beautiful! The ending was really cute too. I totally want to see Hana Yori Dango Final Part 2 now. C'mon, give it to me. I would love to see how they would raise a kid together. *grin*
AnoS New Year SP was also hilarious. I love Aiba a lot. Only 20 secs into the show and he started talking about how his white tshirt was so thin and tight that his chikubis are showing. Oh Aiba. ♥ Aibaland clips were total LOLs. Only Japan would play such games on TV. No matter what I'm feeling, Arashi never fails to brighten up my day. Oh oh they revealed their resolutions for the new year and know what Jun's was. To go to Africa to play with lion cubs because he completely fell in love with the TSD clips of Aiba playing with the cub Shimuken. Oh Matsujun. :)
Who always makes me smile just from his infectious giggles and bright cheerful smile and who is also ridiculously hot and sexy and adorkable at the same time...

Congrats, Riida!! A new drama ~ so soon, so fast! ^____^ Everyone has been talking about it but the new drama is called Uta no Oniisan which will begin on Jan 16th. His character is a total opposite of Naruse Ryo. And OMG look at that costume!! *lolz* Can you imagine Jun in this role? He would die! XD But I would love to see Aiba in this role. It would fit him perfectly.

Other than the AibaJun moment, this episode is so enjoyable even if it's low-key. Aiba trying to force feed Nino. Jun happily thinking he dodged eating pandon until Aiba said he could try the next one and Jun's face. XD Ohno and Sho seriously trying to sleep. Jun and Nino didn't even try. Of course with Aiba lurking around with a mischievous grin, they wouldn't dare to sleep. Still Aiba got to them! And Aiba physically dragging Nino across the floor and Nino whining it hurts!
Nino is so tiny.
Aiba can be such a bully sometimes. Adorkable bully.
Anything Aiba hosts becomes GENIUS. Let Aiba take control of the show more often. :D
Omedetou Arashi for reaching 100th episode of Arashi no Shukudai-kun!! \^o^/ It has brought me so much laughter and endless amusement with their crazy antics in the past 2 years. :D
