Took them a while ago but didn't get a chance to post them. I watched all these DVD extras because I'm still patiently waiting for subs for the movie. Hope it will come out soon.
Jun looks so humble and cute the entire time there. I kinda strangely like his black leather/suit outfit.
The one in USC. You must have seen millions of these by now. I'm not posting much of this.
Another black outfit I love on him. His curls weren't looking bad either. <3
Matsujun, you are making me jealous. ~_~
He must have said something funny from the way she was just cracking up beside him, after leaning in to listen.
Jun was in LA on Sunday for the special screening of Kakushi Toride at USC. Sad that I couldn't make it there. But happy that there were fans who were supporting him throughout the event. He must have been really nervous. A lot of reporters were there, as I've read from fan reports, and they interviewed the fans about how they knew Jun and Arashi. Hehe. Himitsu~ The good thing is that it is officially known to Arashi that they have a strong fanbase oversea. Or a fanclub for Arashi in U.S. with several thousand members as the article from sanspo.com reported it. The article translations thanks to pettochan => HERE. It's so exciting ne! I want to see the boys' reaction to a fanclub named "Arashi Secret Agency." xD Arashi ~ pleassee come to U.S.!!
"I am very honored to be able to participate in this special screening today here. I hope the following 2 hours will be a thrilling time for all of you." ~ Matsumoto Jun [News Zero Report]
A summary report from a fan who was there. => HERE. She included a short clip of Jun receiving a bouquet from the fans and a voice recording of Jun's short introduction in English. Cute~
Jun Matsumoto visits USC for "Hidden Fortress" remake
Tue, April 29, 2008 (2:33am EDT)Arashi's Jun Matsumoto made a public appearance on Sunday at the University of Southern California for a special screening of Shinji Higuchi's "Kakushi Toride no San Akunin: THE LAST PRINCESS," a remake of a classic Akira Kurosawa film. The university is the alma mater of George Lucas, whose "Star Wars" was inspired by the original Kurosawa opus.
Matsumoto greeted the crowd in English, and he was joined on stage by actor Anthony Daniels, who played the character of C-3PO in Lucas' "Star Wars." The audience of 300 people consisted mostly of students, and among them were 36 members of a fan club naming themselves the "Arashi Secret Agency" (a reference to the group's show "Himitsu no Arashi-chan!").
The film opens in Japan on May 10, with future openings planned for Thailand and Taiwan. Negotiations are in progress for North American and European releases.

Jun will be in a movie remake of Kurosawa Akira's famous "Kakushi toride no san akunin" (English title "The Hidden Fortress"). He will play the lead role as a peasant named Takezou. It will be out in theaters on May 10th, 2008.
This is definitely good news. Jun in a historical drama? *O* (Is that why he's growing out his hair?) That is definitely a role that he hasn't tried before. He is always trying his hardest. It seems he started taking horse riding lessons. Be careful on the horse Jun! I so want to see him riding a horse. <3 And there were some interesting comments/compliments about Jun from the Director. xD Ahh it's going to be a long time before I get to see this movie. Ganbatte Jun!!
