His English is cute ne. I don't know if it was memorized or he was thinking off the top of his head. But I think it was the latter since he looked like he was taking time to think and had little pauses in between.
In the last cap, he was overwhelmed with the standing ovation. :D
I think I took too many caps out of excitement. ^^ I haven't even seen his News ZERO report.

I felt bad for the fans who couldn't get into the premiere. The con staff should have done a better job of organizing it.

Baby Sho is so cute but not as adorable as the dorky Sho ne. I was just watching Yoiko no Mikata and I had the thought that even though he's not my ichiban, I would so marry him! ^-^

Not many people can say their idol is a rapper and a news caster and the Olympics correspondent. I'm sooooo proud of you Sakurai!!!
Starting his career with the popular talent management agency Johnny & Associates, Sho Sakurai is the designated rapper of the J-Pop band Arashi. He graduated in 2004 from Keio University with a degree in Economics and has become one of the most well-known faces promoting higher education in Japan. Every Monday he presents a special news segment on NTV's News Zero, and he was NTV's main on-air correspondent covering the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Born in 1982, he is already a veteran of seven films (including a live action adaptation of the popular manga series Honey & Clover) and over 15 television dramas, as well as two stage musicals, including West Side Story, in which he played Tony. He's coming to NYCC to premiere his latest film, Takashi Miike's Yatterman.

Yatterman
Fans have been waiting for Takashi Miike to create a giant robot movie for years, and finally it's here! Starring Japanese superstar Sho Sakurai, Yatterman is the story of two teenagers who run a super, high-tech toy shop which serves as a cover for their crime-busting exploits as Yatterman, a pair of masked super heroes who pilot the sentient dog robot, Yatterwan. Takashi Miike and Sho Sakurai will be at NYCC to speak about Yatterman at 4 PM on Friday in the IGN Theater. Both will then appear at the world premiere of Yatterman at an exclusive theater in NYC! The world premiere of Yatterman is presented by Nikkatsu, the New York Asian Film Festival, and New York Comic Con. For details as to where and when, head over to the Nikkatsu Booth (1315).

It was previously reported that Sho will be signing autographs but recent updates say he won't be able to due to his tight schedule. He will be coming for the world premiere but not sure about the panel.

Sakurai Sho injured!
NEWS: Sho fell off the stage during a rehearsal!! His right ARM is fractured plus minor leg injuries. Nino's statement said he fell head first. Sho got his injured area in cast and recovery will take about 2 weeks. He is thus unable to fully dance in solo (can't raise arm) but concerts will proceed with 5 members as he insisted. AHHHH!!! Daijoubu Sho-chan!?!? "(*o*)''More: Nino was with him throughout the whole hospital trip and all this morning. Sho apparently tried to break the fall using his right arm (fortunately didn't land on head!!!). For the rest of the dancing parts the other 4 members tried their best to cover for him.
I'm worried for him. Hope he will have a fast recovery! Don't push so hard on yourself Sho-kun. Rest well and let the boys take good care of you. I'm glad Nino was with him throughout.

Arashi's Sho Sakurai breaks right thumb falling from stage
Sho Sakurai (26) from popular group "Arashi" made a mistake and fell from the stage during a concert rehearsal at Nagoya Dome yesterday. He broke the joint of his right thumb. It will take a month for a complete recovery.
Sakurai impacted his right hand during the fall. The rehearsal was halted and he was rushed to hospital due to immense pain. He returned to the stage as planned after the injury was seen to. However, he participated little in the dance routines, and announced to the fans, "I've broken the first bone in my life." At present, Arashi is in the middle of their national Dome Tour, but Sakurai is expected to participate as planned. He will also appear on Nippon Television's "NEWS ZERO" on June 2.
